Poor Christmas（又稱Eyes of Love或Come On）是一首1987年從德國某廣播電台錄製的歌手不明的歌曲。

概要

1987年10月，這首歌被德國人René M從某家德國的廣播電台錄製到磁帶上。這個廣播電台可能是radio FFN、Hassen 3或NDR 2（曾播放過另一首未知歌曲Like the Wind的電台）。根據René的記憶，主持人提到這首歌名為「Poor Christmas」或「Your Christmas」，樂隊名為「The Face」或「The Faith」等。

2004年以前，René建立了一個名為DeDiniDevil的網站。大約在2001年左右，Poor Christmas被置於網站的「Wanted」板塊。該網站上的另一首在當時同樣未知的歌曲Stay（the Second time Around）十分受歡迎。

2007年9月16日，一個名叫René R的用戶（和René M不是同一個人）將這首歌發到spiritofradio.ca（著名的國外廣播論壇，一些人在那裏發布未知歌曲尋求他人識曲），其聲稱自己已經尋找這首歌3年多了。這篇帖子沒有受到關注。

2013年9月，Stay（The Second Time Around）在網上被病毒式傳播，並在不久後被證實是Johan Lindell演唱的On The Roof。這為René的DeDiniDevil網站帶來了新的關注。2015年3月31日，René R使用名為Osterhase8的賬號將Poor Christmas發表在YouTube上以獲得更廣泛的知名度。

到2020年，Discord社群The Mysterious Song（一個致力於識別未知歌曲的社群）的成員們開始對這首歌感興趣，並為它創建了一個頻道。2020年10月，René對這首歌的記憶以及它可能來自哪些電台等新信息浮出水面。

在這個頻道，新的線索不斷湧現。The Reflection樂隊的Christmas Day、The Present樂隊的Dance Away（Christmas Day）和Face 2 Face樂隊的Steal Her Away（This Christmas）都曾被認為可能就是Poor Christmas的真面目。到2021年2月，前兩種猜測已被證偽。Face 2 Face樂隊的Steal Her Away（This Christmas）相對更加接近，因為「Face 2 Face」容易讓人記成「The Face」。

2021年11月25日，René在他的YouTube頻道MellieTerry上發布了該歌曲的完整數碼化轉錄版文本^{[#footnote-1 1]}。

2022年7月3日，Discord用戶Isle7找到了Steal Her Away（This Christmas）的音頻，確認這首歌與Poor Christmas無關。

2023年9月，Reddit用戶East-Yam-1602表示，這首歌可能是Face Of Grace樂隊的Why或Hear Me。這條線索來自YouTube評論區。這兩首歌被認為不太可能是Poor Christmas，因為根據Discogs上的記載，這兩首歌比Poor Christmas長近一分鐘，且這兩首歌中有演奏薩克斯，但Poor Christmas中沒有任何薩克斯的聲音。Reddit用戶MJIgaz4聯繫了Discogs上一名持有這兩首歌唱片的用戶，確認這首歌不是Poor Christmas。

理論

丹麥論：Spirit of Radio論壇上一名名為Lars的用戶稱其於80年代的某段時間在丹麥的某場音樂會上聽過這首歌，但該說法未經證實。

The Stage樂隊：Reddit用戶True_Phase3510在查閱1987年的德國報紙時發現這一線索，其稱該樂隊成員的聲線與Poor Christmas的歌手比較相似，加之樂隊名「The Stage」與René M記憶中的」The Face「聽起來有些接近，並且該樂隊在Poor Christmas在廣播電台被播放的9個月前發售了一張單曲。
