Man On A Hill（山上的男人）（過去被稱為「There's A Man」）是蘇格蘭車庫搖滾樂隊 The Defended 創作的一首獨立搖滾歌曲，這首歌曲最初由用戶 Arthur Bogushev 於2017年上傳在Soundcloud上。

2017年4月5日，用戶 Arthur Bogushev 最初以「1」的標題將這首歌曲上傳到Soundcloud上，並稱這首歌曲來自他存儲在舊MP3播放器上的一個不知名烏克蘭電台錄音。[1]其間用戶 Arthur Bogushev 還將這首歌曲發布到musicbanter.com[2]上，該用戶在這網站上聲稱該歌曲大約在2012年至2013年期間錄製，但當時並未引起太多的關注。[3]

2022年12月20日，用戶 Lost Music: Cold Case 將這首歌曲的音頻片段上傳到YouTube上。[4]

2023年2月22日，用戶 bigjimothy18 將這首歌曲發布到r/lostwave子版塊上。之後，該歌曲在lostwave社區中迅速走紅。[5]

2024年2月19日，Reddit用戶 TrippyDrew 在YouTube上搜索「The man on the hill before:2013」​​後，他發現 The Defended 樂隊在蘇格蘭格拉斯哥的Box Glasgow現場表演中演唱了這首歌曲[6]，從而確定這首歌曲是 The Defended 樂隊創作的《Man On A Hill》。[7]
