2012年8月23日，用户guglielm于New Wave Outpost论坛发帖，发布了大批的未知歌曲并寻求识别帮助，其中就包含该歌曲。[1]
2013年4月，guglielm在多个wfmu.org的歌曲列表下留言，内容均为求助识别未知歌曲，并附上了上文所述的帖子链接，同时他第一次表明这些歌曲是他20~30年前从WFMU电台上录制的。[2][3]
2014年8月4日，guglielm 将该歌曲发布到WatZatSong上，附带描述为“听不清歌词”“来自80年代早期”。他在评论区中多次发送该歌曲在BOX上的完整音频。[4]。
2023年3月26日，guglielm确认他在90年代初就将包含这些未知歌曲的磁带全部数字化，并且现已不再保有任何原始磁带。
2024年11月23日，Youtube用户 q 将这首歌曲上传到她的频道上。
