2020年7月20日，Youtube用戶 DJFormaldehyde 將《CIA》發布到了YouTube和New Wave Outpost論壇上。^[2]這首歌是在 DJFormaldehyde 的一位朋友製作的磁帶上發現的，其中收錄了從CFNY-FM Spirit of Radio上錄製的歌曲^[3]，CFNY-FM Spirit of Radio當時是一家加拿大廣播電台，以播放新浪潮、電子或另類搖滾而聞名。^[4]
