2020年6月11日，用户“Jay”在SpiritOfRadio发布了时长为23秒的高音质歌曲片段，称其于1985-1991年间录制自巴尔的摩-华盛顿特区的WCVT或WHFS电台，由此推断Jay与Obscure80s很可能为同一人。发帖者亦表示不确定乐队是否来自当地。

2021年1月28日，Jay于SpiritOfRadio发布另一段歌曲片段，说明录自陶森市的WCVT电台，并透露已寻找这首歌数十年。此片段音质明显逊于半年前上传的版本。

2024年8月1日，歌曲在“Fond My Mind”Discord服务器中获得专属频道，被归入'''<ruby>“其他未知歌曲（2）”<rt>Unknown Songs (2)</rt></ruby>'''类别。因“Jay”发布的其他歌曲均以12英寸黑胶形式发行，有人推测此曲亦源自该载体。
